Chanel makes a lot of gorgeous handbags, but some of them are destined to stick around, like the Chanel Coco Handle Bag.

First introduced in the Pre-Fall Winter 2015 Collection, nobody had ever thought that the Chanel Coco Handle Bag would come so far. But when you take another look at it, the bag does look stunning and fabulous.

The name is lovely as well; the bag is named after the founder Gabrielle Coco Chanel. The design is like a flap bag but in a tote bag version. And you know how well Chanel creates flap bags. The bag also reminds me a bit of the Trendy CC Bag.

But anyways, the Coco Handle Bag is designed in trapezium shape and it’s beautiful quilted with vivid stitches. The top features a strong handle and it comes with the classic woven chain strap for shoulder carry as well. You can carry it by hand and cross body. It’s crafted with a front flap and features the iconic interlocking CC closure.

The unique about the design is the handle, you can either choose in the luxurious lizard leather or just the normal leather which is the usually the in calfskin. The bag comes in several different sizes and here are the details:

Ladylike Top Handle Bags

Frugal Friday

By the time Friday rolls around (and it sure took its time), you feel tired and frazzled, but much like the weekend, another bag is always waiting to offer you a sense of renewal. Plop down that less-organized-than-it-was-on-Monday work tote and get yourself one of these ladylike top handles. You can’t help but feel sophisticated and put-together with polished accessories like these – even if you’re in your sweaty yoga pants. Though almost all come with a shoulder strap (because, function), carrying them delicately by their top handles is the best way to remind yourself to slow down and savor the feel of a gorgeous bag. Best of all? These little luxuries come in at surprisingly low price points. Ladies know that being frugal is a virtue; just because it’s payday doesn’t mean you need to spend it all at once!

This bag is not an unexceptional – beautiful but not uncommon. We’ve spotted some similar type in other designer brands; do you remember the Gucci XL Tote Bag?

The Prada Intarsia Handle Tote Bag – the fashion house created two kinds of handles – one double leather handle to carry on your shoulder or hands. And an intarsia handle in the center, refined with steel hardware. I find the second option a bit uncomfortable.

Besides one large compartment in the interior, it also comes with a clutch bag with zipper closure. The clutch can be removed and used separately, so its quite flexible and I love it.

However, I missing something. It would be better if they add a shoulder strap instead of the double leather handles. I like this option, do you?

Crafted from soft calf leather, measuring 34 x 28.5 x 15 cm, priced at €1400 euro via Prada boutique.
